My husband Jake, is my best friend and nothing brings me more joy than the knowledge that we will walk through this life together. He is a Cancer survivor and overcame it all. He is an incredible man, my hero!

I grew up surrounded with animals and am the proud parent of four rescued pets; the eldest Sockie is a feisty Lhasa Apso that strikes an uncanny resemblance to Mr. T; Juanito, my beloved Chihuahua, was rescued sick, hungry, and scared off of the mean streets of South Central Los Angeles; Lulu Jane is a young pit bull used as evidence by the LA County Court in an animal cruelty case and was found emaciated and close to death; and last but not least is Carmella, a big fat happy rabbit saved from a shelter on her very last day. After spending my personal income and countless hours helping rescued and fostered animals I decided to organize Pinups for Pups in 2005, dedicated to helping the 4 to 6 million homeless animals that are killed each year. We have found a fun and unique way to teach people about responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and what you can do to help further Animal rescue work.

Last but not least in my life; is my daughter Leona she gave me my absolute proudest moment the day she was born. I hope to teach her to appreciate my passions and to find her own. To be the best Leona she can be and LIVE FREE!
